[Carlton Fields is seeking a File Clerk for its Tampa office.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a file clerk in the legal industry. [Qualified candidates must be proactive and flexible, have excellent organizational and customer service skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as electronic document management systems; File Site experience a plus. - Assist with maintaining and updating clients files and records on a daily basis
- Electronic filing of legal documents within the firms document management system
- Responsible for opening files for new client matters
- Scanning client files/ records into the firms document management system
- Assist with closing out client files and records, following the firms closing procedures
- Provide Reception relief for Receptionist as needed
- Back-up other File Clerks when needed
