Enterprise Excellence (EE) is a group within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization that designs solutions to enhance transparency, empowers Operations and Functions to improve processes and evolves the organization through continuous improvement and simplification. The organization is responsible for defining, deploying, and driving alignment and progress against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization and improves process health.

EE Applications Architecture Lead Analyst

Application Architect will augment the Solutions Architecture function- which is responsible for designing comprehensive solutions to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements, ensuring that systems and applications are robust, scalable, and efficient.

The Systems Architecture lead analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and is highly skilled and has expertise in leading the designing, deployment and management of systems supporting cutting-edge technologies. They will have hands on experience with the Application architecture and support the application control, governance, and compliance for the EE Tech.

Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in the other teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end web application solutions with latest front end, middleware and back-end technologies with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Design Enterprise level solutions for application ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics that support large-scale traffic.

  • Lead the Design and architecture for all application and system across all EE applications.

  • Understanding business needs, user requirements, technical constraints, and industry standards

  • Implement best DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline development and deployment processes.

  • Develop and implement architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for AI/ML model deployment.

  • Lead the exploration of emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company’s technology stack and business strategies.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of working experience in creating and implementing full stack Application design and Architecture.

  • Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using React, angular, Node, Spring boot, Java and comparable languages.

  • Expertise in Hybrid cloud platforms, web development frameworks, and object-oriented design principles.

  • Proficient with best design patterns and principles SOLID, DRY etc.

  • Should have knowledge of Event driven and SOA level architecture.

  • Must also have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing application design and architecture.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize design for the best possible outcome.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.

  • Professional written and interpersonal skills

  • Continued education and research into latest trends and current design strategy and technology

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant Certifications are a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
