MetLife Complaints & Litigation Specialist in Tampa, Florida
Job Location: Must live within a commutable distance of a MetLife Office near Aurora IL, Bloomfield CT, Bridgewater NJ, Cary NC, Clarks Summit PA, Oriskany NY, Tampa FL, Warwick RI, San Juan PR
In office once a month for meetings
Principal Responsibilities:
Research claims and service complaints using multiple applications and systems.
Partner with the Claims and Service Organizations to bring the complaint to resolution.
Communicate with the complainant, various Departments of Insurance, and internal customers as needed.
Update claim applications with complaint status and resolution.
Success in this role requires:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent listening skills
Critical thinking and the ability to problem solve
Excels at building partnership and work collaboratively within and across the organization
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
Knowledge of insurance and claim processes preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Critical thinking and detail oriented
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel
