Citigroup Capital Stress Testing Sr Lead Analyst, SVP in Tampa, Florida

This role will support the production of the Citigroup and Citibank, NA Capital Plans, and processes owned by Capital Stress Testing Team. The Capital Plans are significant firm deliverables, and their production requires management across several dimensions, including: management of the tools, systems, and reporting templates (including WDesk, Word, Powerpoint, and proprietary reporting systems) which compile the Capital Plan narrative, exhibits, and supporting data.

The role will report to the Head of Capital Plan production and Policy. The Head of Capital Plan Production and Policy is responsible for the overall completeness and integrity of the Capital Plan, as well as for ensuring appropriate narrative flow and intelligibility across a wide range audiences. The role requires the ability to write and review clear descriptions of technical financial and risk management-related topics.

*MUST BE LOCAL TO THE TAMPA AREA. As this role will report on site twice a weel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of production of the firm’s Capital Plans, including drafting of narrative, incorporation of data related to capital forecasts and capital adequacy assessment, incorporation of supporting documentation, maintenance of annual calendar, and compliance with internal policy and applicable regulatory requirements and expectations

  • Coordinate with and develop a strong working relationship with forecasting stakeholders throughout the firm to gather required inputs, and review and challenge outputs

  • Maintain infrastructure tools and platforms which host drafting of Capital Plans (eg, Wdesk), and maintain appropriate access controls

  • Maintain in-depth understanding of the firm’s Capital Adequacy Assessment (CAA) process, and ensure alignment of Capital Plans to CAA objectives

  • Developing a strong working relationship with individual process and model owners across the organization in support of their individual responsibilities and in support of creating a holistic framework in which the firm executes its collective capital planning responsibilities

  • Support various projects and processes owned by Capital Stress Testing Team

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, including well-developed verbal, written and presentation skills. Must be able to quickly create concise, informative narratives for internal and external stakeholders, based on forecast and historical data, that convey a well-developed “story” and advocate for a well-reasoned point of view.

  • Previous experience in a Capital Management or Capital Planning-related function, external consulting, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) preferred.

  • Aptitude for translating strategy into execution in a complex and cross-functional organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of US prudential regulation, especially related to capital adequacy.

  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to distill complex ideas into simple stories.

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in driving results with a strong understanding of the financial services industry.

  • Strong audit instincts to apply independent judgment to historical business practices, a proven ability and willingness to challenge the status quo, and with a strong change agent mentality to drive process enhancements and simplification.

  • A self-starter with proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, drive multiple deliverables and stakeholders in a dynamic and continuously changing environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and knowledge across multiple geographic locations enabling ability to gain consensus and agreement across disparate functions, products, and geographies.

  • Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint; proficiency in WDesk preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
