Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Senior Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Maintain and support applications and their operating environments focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations. Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives. Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management. Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, and communicate impact. Review and develop application contingency planning to ensure availability to users. Develop and maintain technical support documentation. Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning correctly. Formulate and define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolution. Participate in application releases from development, testing, and deployment into production. Engage in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors. Operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Utilizing Java programming language to analyze error exceptions; Utilizing SQL to perform data analysis on reported inquiries or data quality checks; Utilizing Unix/Linux operating systems for deployment of ions in a cloud environment; Working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes to modify systems to improve functions; and Deploying software changes through software product system, monitoring network protocols, and troubleshooting network related issues. 40 hrs./wk.
