Robert Half Accounts Receivable Lead in Tampa, Florida

Description

We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Lead to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our financial operations, with a focus on managing accounts receivable and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. You will also have the responsibility of maintaining customer credit records and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize your skills in accounting functions, auditing, and billing functions to ensure smooth operations

• Leverage your knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and track payments

• Use your strong Excel skills to maintain and organize financial data

• Apply your experience in B2B collections, ideally from a retail background

• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and understanding of accounts receivable processes

• Show your passion for troubleshooting in resolving any issues that may arise in the accounts receivable process.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of prior Collections management experience. This role requires a candidate with great communication skills, advanced Excel skills and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

This is a permanent position that will pay up to $90,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Strong proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management is required.

• Auditing skills are essential to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Must have experience in Billing Functions to ensure the timely issuance of invoices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
