Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, cultivate, and solicit for new agency contracts.
• Identify, evaluate, and participate in response to Request for Proposals and other funding opportunities.
• Maintain ongoing contact with referral partners to assure that positive relationships exist and customer service needs are met.
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing and maintaining foster care capacity to ensure quarterly and annual recruitment goals are achieved.
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing and maintaining Mental and Behavioral Health programs to ensure quarterly and annual goals are achieved.
• Promote a positive public image of NYAP to all who are in contact with the organization.
• Ensure regional staff are hired, trained, and supervised effectively to deliver services to agency customers.
• Promote successful staff development and continuing education to ensure the implementation of best practice protocols.
• Provide leadership at all regional staff meetings which occur, at minimum, once a month.
• Direct regional quality advancement efforts to assure that service quality meets contract requirements, internally
established measures and outcomes, and standards required of regulatory bodies.
• Assure that staff contact with youth and families meet treatment needs and align with contract terms.
• Support all staff in accomplishing monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity goals including Medicaid revenue projections; actively support and follow through on team goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
Valid Ohio LISW-S or LPCC-S required
Experience working in direct service with youth and families
Experience working directly with Foster Care adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families
Experience working with Medicaid clients
Experience working in the non-profit sector strongly preferred
Daily travel required; willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule during non-traditional hours if needed
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
You have excellent computer and technology skills
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities.
Demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit
Must be open to travel as needed.
Must be open to working non-traditional hours as needed
