Robert Half Sr. Project Manager in Tallahassee, Florida

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager in Tallahassee, Florida. The Sr. Project Manager will be a key figure in our team, responsible for leading complex projects, maintaining project metrics, and serving as a liaison with users in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the development and management of resource-loaded and leveled projects.

• Upholding and tracking project metrics in line with established standards.

• Acting as the primary liaison with users, facilitating clear communication and understanding.

• Offering hands-on leadership for intricate projects.

• Delivering regular project progress reports and presentations to a variety of stakeholders, including executive leadership.

• Managing project resources and spend plans effectively.

• Ensuring all project documentation is maintained in compliance with Project Management Office (PMO) standards.

• Leading or assisting in business requirement gathering sessions for Joint Application Development (JAD).

• Working closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software developers to document business requirements.

• Developing As-Is, To-Be, and other required business analysis documentation.

• Leading the implementation of business process improvement recommendations.

• Managing the expectations of diverse stakeholders and providing them with regular briefings.

• Operating independently as part of a larger cross-functional team. Requirements • Must hold a valid PMP Certification

• Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodologies

• Demonstrated understanding of Budget Processes

• Proficiency in System Development Life Cycle

• Excellent Change Management skills

• Outstanding Communication abilities

• Experience in managing complex projects in a senior role

• Ability to work in a team and lead projects to completion

• Proven track record in meeting project deadlines and objectives

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Proficiency in using project management software and tools

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
