    POSITION DESCRIPTION: Compiles statistics, maintains statewide automated program activities, and prepares operational and analytical statistical reports. This includes the review, monitoring, and analysis a commercial vehicle weight enforcement data such as; International Registration Plan (IRP)/ International Fuel Tax Agreement violations, and amounts of the penalties and fee assessments.

    Conducts research and records maintenance, preparation, reproduction, and distribution of Annual Truck Size and Weight Enforcement Plan, State Enforcement Plan, and the Annual Vehicle Size and Weight Enforcement Certification. Coordinates with the Federal Highway Administration, regarding information that is to be incorporated into the Annal Vehicle Size Weight Enforcement Plan.

    Assist with budget administration 995 cost center. Participates in the evaluation of budget and work measurement studies, management controls, fiscal accountability, and operational audit used in the administration and management of the Motor Carrier Size and Weight (MCSAW) statewide scale operations program. Assist with monitoring and evaluating budget reports for the MCSAW program.

    Provides guidance and assistance to supervisors, managers, and administrative staff, regarding human resource issues and requirements. Ensures accurate and timely submission of hiring packets, separation paperwork, and other human resource related documents.

    Prepares, tracks, and processes MCSAW staff travel arrangements, travel request, and request for reimbursements, maintaining records and processing payments in accordance with the department and state rules and guidelines. Also assist in the preparation of official correspondence such as letters, memorandums, charts, graphs, special reports and budgets. Compiles, reviews, records, and proofreads data as required to ensure consistency and accuracy.

    Assist the public by answering questions and routing inquires to appropriate personnel. Coordinate with electronic bypass providers for statistics and data regarding their program in Florida. Coordinates with the Scale Operations Managers, Scale Maintenance personnel, and District personnel regarding the facility issues.

    Assit MCSAW management with special assignments using independent judgement to research and analyze data. Makes recommendations to MCSAW management as appropriate.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the methods of date collection; Knowledge of analytical processes and techniques for preparing summaries and reports for management; Knowledge of travel, personnel, and purchasing procedures; Skill in use of personal computers and ability to use Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook): Skillin performing and managing multiple task and priorities of a sensitive/confidential nature; Skill in determining work priorities and meeting deadlines; Ability to access and use available state reporting systems to monitor the cost centers procurement and budget date; Ability to apply applicable rules, regulations policies and procedures; Ability to prepare and maintain reports and documents using the correct format, spelling, punctuation and grammar; Ability to communicate both verbally and written form; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; Ability to work independently and with others.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Obtained a high school diploma or certificate of high school equivalency.
