MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityandtwo (2) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.

A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Possession of a valid Driver License.

JOB DUTIES:

Participates in routine and non-routine quality assurance assessments on processing and program areas within the Division of Licensing. Routine assessments will include review of applications, training documents, criminal history documents, citizenship documents, and review of Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS). Submits documentation of files assessed to Government Analyst I/team lead for assessment within assigned timeframe.

Identifies areas of potential improvement and confers with team members, team lead, and potentially supervisor to make recommendations for additional assessments.

Assists Government Analyst I/team lead with preparing reports and exhibits to document analysis of assessment findings and recommendations.

Performs highly independent work in conducting major complex management studies and makes conclusive recommendations.

Assists line supervisors in the installation of quality assurance techniques as assigned.

Formulates recommendations to solve problems and prepares reports of findings.

Recommends studies and analysis procedures and establishes priorities and methodology to be employed.

Performs other special duties, assignments and related work as needed/directed.

  • Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to management analysis activities.
