Job Summary

The Manager of Long Term Services and Support (LTSS) is a key member of the Aetna Better Health of Florida leadership team and is responsible for overseeing healthcare service delivery, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and managing staff, budgets, and resources to support operational efficiency. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve member outcomes and organizational performance, as well as leading quality improvement initiatives with their direct and indirect reports. The LTSS Manager reports to the Director of LTSS.

This is a fully remote role. Eligible candidates must live in Florida.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Director, internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance coordination of care for LTSS members

  • Analyzing healthcare data including dashboards to inform decision-making, and addressing member concerns to improve satisfaction

  • Ensuring compliance with AHCA regulations and enterprise policies while providing leadership and professional development opportunities to the team

Required Qualifications

  • Florida resident

  • 3 years' LTSS experience in a managed care organization to include understanding of contract, compliance measures, case management and utilization management processes, and strategies to improve member outcomes.

  • 2 years’ experience managing multiple direct reports including other leaders

  • Ability to lead and develop teams fostering a collaborative and high performing team.

  • Experience in managing daily operations, staffing, budgets and resource allocation.

  • Experience working with internal teams, external providers, and community organizations that enhance care coordination.

  • Strong ability to address challenges, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies.

  • Commitment to improving member experience, addressing concerns, and ensuring access to necessary services

  • Ability to deliver clear, engaging presentations and effectively communicate to team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and use of TEAMS.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% for meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years leadership experience

  • Clinical license – RN or BH

  • Florida LTSS experience

  • Certified Case Manager-CCM

  • Understanding NCQA accreditation standards

  • Experience in process improvement implementation

Education

Bachelor's degree – health related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,340.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
