We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an IT Support Technician in Tallahassee, Florida. This position lies within the tech industry and is primarily focused on providing technical advice and support for software and hardware issues. You will be part of a team, sharing information, and assisting others with resolving technical service problems.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Support: Provide technical guidance and training on hardware and software applications to resolve customer issues efficiently.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve routine technical problems by conducting in-depth analysis of system errors and malfunctions.

• Problem Prevention: Develop and implement proactive measures to address recurring issues through root cause analysis and process improvement.

• Knowledge Management: Maintain comprehensive knowledge databases and tracking systems to streamline problem resolution and enhance support quality.

• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in a team environment, sharing expertise and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.

• Professional Development: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide exceptional technical support.

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, MS Windows 10, and other relevant operating systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
