JOB SUMMARY: This Government Operations Consultant III position in the Department of Revenue’s Information Services Program Director's Office supports purchasing, contract management, and budget functions. Key responsibilities include leading IT procurement contract development, negotiation, and execution while ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. The role involves managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract compliance, as well as overseeing amendments, renewals, and risk mitigation. It requires cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to support IT needs, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to policy and process improvements. Additionally, the position involves training ISP contract managers on best practices, legal requirements, and departmental policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently employed with a State Personnel System agency or department.

• FCCM Certification.

• 2 years of contract management experience with the State of Florida

  PREFERENCES:

• Experience managing government procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract compliance.

• Experience with local, state, and federal laws governing procurement and contracts.

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Experience with contract management software (MFMP, FLAIR, Adobe, Excel).

• Experience with state accounting functions and requirements.

  SPECIAL NOTES:

• Starting salary: $60,000.00.

• Position is located at Southwood, (2450 Shumard Oak Blvd., Tallahassee, FL).

• Telework is available once proficiency of work duties are met.

  SALARY: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00.
