GlaxoSmithKline Marketing Manager (Nephrology) in Taipei, Taiwan

Approximately 1 in 10 patients worldwide are affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD), many of whom experience the complication of anaemia which currently leaves them with symptoms that can reduce quality of life and increase risk of cardiovascular disease, hospitalisation and mortality.

Objective

To lead a cross-functional team of Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and other supporting functions to make sure we have a ‘best in class launch’ and to coordinate with the Global (TA team) and Region to share and learn from best practices and work at pace to implement.

Commercial objectives:

Take accountability to develop and deliver clear strong launch plans Ownership to be ready to win at launch Challenge and shape the resourcing model and key operational strategies across the mix Partner excellently with Medical, Access and Regulatory

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the launch, through pre-launch and launch plans

  • Management launch excellence process and milestones with the region and TA

  • Leadership of key business reviews

  • Leadership of operational planning process

  • Lead localisation (from global) of customer global materials to improve globally produced content to be fit for purpose for localisation

  • Build strong and collaborative relationship with global & regional team to ensure strong alignment between UK team and key stakeholders.

  • Support National Sales Director with segmentation and targeting and performance monitoring activities

  • Set and own appropriate KPIs and metrics for content performance

  • Accountability for the delivery of strategic projects to support brand competitiveness at launch

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extensive commercial experience across UK leading teams in the Chronic Kidney Disease/Anaemia related to CKD therapy area

  • Experience working on launch products in large reimbursement markets

  • Has deployed segmented customer journeys across all core channels

  • Experience developing multi-channel strategies and campaigns for a brand, including all core digital channels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital marketing diploma or equivalent

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving and exciting environment
