Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a highly motivated Neuro-Hospitalist to join our team based in Tacoma, WA. The physician would work closely with our team of Neuroscience physicians in a collaborative practice model to provide excellent patient-centered care.

Our well established Neuro-Hospitalist program is seeking a candidate with a strong comfort level in all aspects of general neurology to join our team. This is an opportunity that uniquely balances inpatient and outpatient care in a manner that provides a diversified practice and work life satisfaction. One week per month is dedicated entirely to inpatient care and call coverage (24 hrs/7 days). Two weeks per month is dedicated to outpatient work (4 days per week) with no inpatient and no call responsibilities.

The Neuro-Hospitalist program supports an institution that is primed to provide all levels of complex neurological care. This team is supported by an experienced and collegial team of Internal Medicine hospitalists, neuro-interventional radiologists, neuroradiologists, specialized nursing staff, inpatient rehab staff, EEG capability is required.

Qualifications

Requirements include: Medical Degree, BC/BE in Neurology, and an active Washington state medical license prior to starting.

Pay Range

$124.29 - $184.78 /hour
