Job Number: R0214894 Collective Training Exercise Planner Key Role: Serve as an Army Collective Training Exercise Planner to assist, mentor, and conduct mobilization and deployment activities, including development of exercise design and training events. Perform as a mobilization planning lead who supports Division Command Post Exercise (CPX) progression, Exportable Combat Training Capability events, Culminating Training Events, Combat Support Training Exercises, and Mobilization Exercises I-III. Build Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) and simulation injects for integration into the exercise environment and participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPT). Plan and participate in Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) activities, including retention control points, multi-component joint assessments (MCJA), concept development workshops, initial, main, and final planning events, MSEL scripting conferences, technical integration working groups (TIWG), and in-progress reviews (IPR). Work in an information technology (IT) environment and integrate the use of command-and-control information systems, Battle Command Systems, simulations and simulators, mission specific digital systems and tools, and IT assets to support the mission. Prepare and update presentation material for senior leadership, middle management, or the action officer level, and coordinate with active, inactive, and contingency mobilization force generation installations (MFGI), and state or local organizations. Submit, receive, and distribute requests for information (RFI) to commands, agencies, or installation activities, and support the mission partner in any manner necessary to accomplish the mission. Basic Qualifications: 12+ years of experience training Army Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support units Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and exercise planning, design, and development Experience working at the Brigade or Division-level with MSEL scripting storyline levels I-III, scenarios, and inject production Experience using Microsoft 365 Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning, tactics, techniques, and procedures Knowledge of the Army mobilization mission and mission command information systems Ability to travel in support of client events Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Completion of the Command and General Staff Officer or Master Leader Course Additional Qualifications: Experience as an Observer Coach or Trainer, Simulation Operations Officer, Army Planner, Battle Staff NCO Course, or Digital Master Gunner Experience working on a Brigade or higher headquarters staff Experience conducting Army mobilization operations Knowledge of the Joint MSEL automated system Knowledge of Joint Training Tool Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
