A well established charter school located in Syracuse, Utah, is now accepting applications for a Custodian. This position is part-time and will be 40 hours per week, with 8 hours per day.

Job Requirements:

·         Carry out assigned cleaning duties for all areas of the school to include cleaning windows inside and outside as necessary, sweeping walks and steps keeping them clear of snow and ice, scrubbing and disinfecting toilets and floors daily and cleaning all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.

·         Move furniture or equipment within the building as required for various activities and as directed.

·         Maintain the school grounds in a safe and attractive condition, remove trash, sweep sidewalks, and complete sidewalk snow removal.

·         Assist in maintaining a system of building and ground security to include ensuring that the building is secure on non- school days and at other times as assigned and reporting to the Principal any damage to school property.

·         Participate in necessary general repairs as directed by the Principal.

·         Keep current on and comply with safety and OSHA requirements in connection with performing his/her duties.

Candidate must submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements.
