Description

We are on the hunt for a Software Developer to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry. The role is situated in SYRACUSE, New York and focuses on building interactive solutions using various programming languages and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing SQL procedures, building user reports, and troubleshooting data-related issues among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop SQL procedures, triggers and views utilizing Microsoft SQL Server

• Generate user reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Analyze, troubleshoot and remediate data-related issues to ensure system performance and availability

• Independently manage assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative

• Collaborate with users to document requirements for new functionality and support existing systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software and application development

• Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server

• Proficient in SSRS

• Knowledge of C#.NET is required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
