Description We are offering a contract for a Medical Receptionist position. Located in SYRACUSE, New York, United States, this role is based in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of duties related to patient service and administrative operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process patient check-ins and verify insurance coverage

• Maintain accurate patient records using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and EHR SYSTEM

• Answer and manage inbound calls, providing information and assistance as required

• Utilize Dentrix Dental Software and Eaglesoft for relevant operations

• Handle and update patient charts and graphs as needed

• Ensure seamless communication and operations with the use of Epic EMR

• Resolve patient inquiries and issues promptly and professionally

• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Receptionist role or similar within the healthcare industry

• Skilled in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and other EHR Systems

• Capable of efficiently handling and responding to inbound calls, ensuring excellent customer service

• Familiarity with the use of charts and graphs for data representation

• Demonstrated history of checking in patients in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Proficient in using Epic EMR for electronic health records management

• Able to effectively verify insurance coverage for patients to ensure seamless service delivery TalentMatch®
