Job Description

The individual hired for this position will perform laboratory and quality functions by testing, collecting data, and analyzing findings on raw materials. They will comply with NY State Ag & Markets, FDA, USDA, and GMP policies. They will also adhere to all standard operating procedures and requirements as directed under standard methods for laboratory procedures. Responsibilities include Milk Testing, Product Sample Testing, Powder Testing, Full Silo Batch Testing, and Bacteria analysis.

Hard Skills

• BS AS Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related sciences preferred, but not required

• Lab instrumentation experience also highly preferred

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment perform quality control testing and interest in getting into a laboratory based setting.

Job Type

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) with the potential of being brought on full time after the contract period

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Auburn, New York.

• This position is a day shift, from 6am-6pm

• 2-2-3 schedule
