SUNY Upstate Medical University EMS Administrative Specialist in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

Support for EMS Physicians

  • Coordinate & plan meetings

  • Take detailed minutes

  • Manage EMS program files

  • Manage EMS program HR - Independant Contractor Time

  • Prepare & Review Correspondence & Program Announcements

  • Maintain EMS Program Budget, prepare annual budget in conjunction with Directorof EMS Education

  • Submit purchase requests in accordance with established policy

  • Aid program staff in collecting & reviewing performance data

  • In conjunction with Director EMS Education, coordinate & support EMS outreach efforts

  • Provide advice & assistance to students & program staff

  • Aid in the develop digital content, maintain EMS Program social media presence

    Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and three years of administrative/office management experience.

Proficient in office software, including spreadsheets. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills are a plus

Work Days:

Monday - Friday daytime hours
