Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings of $100000- $120000 / year including bonus, and incentives. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Implement and support company pricing, market strategy, yield, distribution & selling strategies, and revenue management best practices. Manage revenue generation & maximization through full utilization of company systems, business processes, and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs

  • Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of any internal incentive programs for Commercial/Sales; provide the General Manager with clear payback analysis; assist the General Managers in making necessary adjustments to any program

  • Prepare quarterly presentations or reports for the Revenue Management Committee and the Team s progress toward the goals of the five-year forecast; include a detailed analysis of adjustments to the current year forecast and analysis of variances

  • Monitor competitor strategies and data; maintain an understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and present appropriate action plans to management; monitor and communicate fluctuations so leaders can effectively manage staffing requirements and increase efficiency

  • Send targeted daily communications describing the relevant strategy and pricing changes

  • On a weekly basis, lead Revenue Management meetings, including discussions on future issues such as performance statistics, and other revenue-specific goals

  • Set appropriate Revenue Management strategy, including pricing, for all portfolios; ensure alignment with the commercial teams and other key revenue management stakeholders on Revenue Management strategy and pricing

  • Monitor actual sales and revenues to determine variance and assess goal accomplishment

  • Create standardized report packages (revenue, segmentation, the source of business, geographic origin, volume, wholesale, etc.) and forecasts; Develop an automated budget and forecast tools

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of rate codes in the various systems ensuring the propagation of changes and updates

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree plus five years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Three years of experience supervising/managing exempt level employees

  • Ability to determine revenue recognition treatment on current customer profiles, reviewing and analyzing month over month revenue against the budget to determine inconsistencies or misallocations, and implement successful revenue and billing techniques

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
