Painter Helper: (2) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 04/01/2025-12/20/2025.

Employer: Alfieri Painting & Decorating., 575 Underhill Blvd., Syosset, NY 11791.

Duties: Fills containers with paint & thinner. Cleans and prepares surfaces of article to be painted as well as assisting painters in all tasks. 1 month experience as painter helper. Temporary full time employment. Employer will transport workers to and from each job location. May get up to 10 hours overtime when available.

Employer will provide transportation to multiple worksites in Suffolk/Nassau Counties, from designated pick up location: 575 Underhill Blvd., Syosset, NY 11791.

No education required, 1 month experience required.

Work Days: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hours/week at $18.54-$20.54/hour. Up to 10 hours OT at $27.81-$30.81/hour when available.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59.00/day with receipts.
