Shared Services Administrator - Human Resources
THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE LOCATED IN SWEETWATER, TEXAS
Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates daily duties in the areas of general HR administration and business support at a manufacturing plant. This role Human Resources focused.
- Serves as an on-site resource to assist employees with understanding of company policies, procedures and benefit coverages.
- Participate and coordinate plant onsite interviews for hourly openings.
- Coordinates on-site tasks required to source and onboard new employees.
- Integral in generating messages and communications that help keep employees informed of news, events, etc.
- Role includes coordinating assigned components of the plant safety program (assigning trainings, quarterly incentives).
- Assist with Worker's Comp cases and other tasks as needed.
- Assist employees with plant first aid injury management.
- Coordinates annual employee medical testing.
- Provides support to various plant employee engagement initiatives (i.e. family day, golf tournament and etc).
- Maintenance of the personnel filing system. Contributes to the processing of employee charges/reimbursements.
- Assists and cross trains for various office functions/tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Exposure to workplace safety administration is a plus.
- Detail oriented in the generation and maintenance of records, filing systems, etc.
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple tasks.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage own time efficiently and productively.
- Adaptable to new, different, or changing circumstances. Able to stay calm when confronted with high emotions.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to build rapport with employees.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and possesses aptitude to learn new computer applications as required. Oracle experience is a plus.
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $75,000 per year
- Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
