Adecco is partnering with a local client, to recruit a dedicated Operations Manager, in Swanton, VT. This is a direct-hire position offering an exciting opportunity to lead the establishment and optimization of production processes in a newly developed facility. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to create a highly efficient, fully integrated operation while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of production equipment.

• Develop a deep understanding of production workflows and facility layout.

• Participate in an intensive training program, requiring travel to Canada and France during the initial months.

• Partner with HR to design competitive compensation structures and pay grids.

• Assist in hiring and training employees for specialized roles identified in collaboration with senior management.

• Ensure production output aligns with demand and quality expectations.

• Develop technical and product knowledge, including understanding the functionality of production equipment.

• Create and manage the annual production budget to achieve key objectives.

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, including preventive maintenance programs.

• Manage contracts and relationships with external contractors to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on team collaboration.

• Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and manage production equipment.

• Familiarity with GMP and operational best practices.

• Willingness to travel internationally during the onboarding and training period.

• Experience with hiring, training, and developing workforce strategies.

• Strong budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling expertise.

• Proven ability to implement and optimize new production processes.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
