Job Description: We are seeking a full-time skilled maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance work, basic electrical, PLC. The maintenance technician will also be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and machinery in the Tronair facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, and electrical repairs
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Respond to maintenance requests from employees and tenants
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine the cause of malfunctions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Keep accurate maintenance records

     

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

     

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification: in with basic electrical systems and PLC
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop effective solutions to restore equipment or systems to proper working order.
  • Attention to Detail: Being meticulous and thorough in performing inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Analytical Skills: The capacity to analyze data, interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams, and apply critical thinking to solve complex maintenance problems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and collaboration with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities, convey information, and provide assistance as needed.
  • • Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or property.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies, equipment, and procedures to keep pace with advancements in maintenance practices and industry trends.

  • Customer Service Orientation: When working in facilities that serve customers, having the ability to interact professionally, courteously, and respectfully with clients or tenants while addressing their maintenance needs.
  • Preventive Maintenance Knowledge: Understanding the importance of preventive maintenance and being able to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent costly breakdowns.
