PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is accountable to the Chief Pilot for the safe conduct of assigned flights. During the operation of the aircraft the pilot-in-command is in full command of the aircraft and crew, regardless of seat position. The Pilot-in-command is also responsible for taking any action that may be necessary for the safe completion of a flight.
A Second-in-Command (SIC) assists the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the management of the flight and flying the aircraft in accordance with the directions of the PIC. The SIC may carry out take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC and will take over control in the event of PIC incapacitation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as Pilot in the safe operation of the company aircraft
Perform pre-flight inspection of the aircraft to insure an airworthy condition
Review and monitor checklist, fuel supply, weather, field conditions, flight route and inoperative components
Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, aircraft and company flight operations manual
Maintain current knowledge of aviation, aircraft systems and emergency procedures
Perform duties as assigned during flight preparation and in flight
Provide leadership and training for other flight crew members
Perform other aviation tasks assigned by the Chief Pilot
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
High school graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
US Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
Instrument rating for airplane
First Class FAA Medical
US citizen or holder of valid work permit; current passport
Minimum of 1500 hours flight time preferred
EXPERIENCE :
Previous Corporate Flight department experience strongly desired
Success in a dynamic and team-oriented environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
Ability to work flexible work hours
Pilot will be sent a weekly schedule of dates for flights
Pilot can be called within 2 hours of trip
Most trips will last 1 to 2 days; occasional trips range 7 to 10 days
Maintain current required licenses and certificates to comply with company and FAA requirements
Attend regularly scheduled ground and simulator training, maintain flight proficiency, and knowledge of all flight operations and regulations
Ability to complete all required preflight and preparation duties
Ability to create and appreciate an inclusive environment where all are appreciated for their diverse thoughts and uniqueness
Assist in loading and unloading of baggage and assisting passengers, as needed
Problem solving skills
Excellent cross-cultural verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of required protocol, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality
