We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer with experience in product design, manufacturing and reliability testing. The ideal candidate will focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM), testing, and quality, and will play a crucial role in optimizing the production ready process from prototype to final product. You will collaborate closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure products are designed for ease of manufacturing, efficient testing, and consistent quality. Additionally, you will design and produce fixtures and tooling that improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Key Responsibilities: Partner with cross functional design teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Quality, Manufacturing and Machine Shop) to identify and resolve manufacturing issues by following MFX best practices and principles. Develop and design custom fixtures, jigs, and tooling to aid in assembly and manufacturing processes. Liaison between design teams and production teams to resolve design release issues, speed up transition from prototyping to volume production. Participate in the development of testing protocols to validate product functionality and quality during manufacturing. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and improve product quality. Identify and work with cross functional teams for Innovation projects and develop Proof of Concept work. Prepare After Actions and Lessons learned and develop actionable feedback, to improve product development. Qualifications: Education: Minimum bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering. Experience: At least 12 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Product Design, Product Manufacturing and working with component suppliers. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD Tools (Pro/Engineer Creo), knowledge of GDandT, Tolerance analysis. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with DOE, GRandR, PFMEA and Failure Analysis Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with cross-functional design teams and manufacturing teams.
