SUMMARY

Morley Moss, Inc. is currently seeking a QA/QC Site Inspector to work at one of its larger jobsites in the DFW metroplex. This position will be responsible for working with site Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, and the Project Manager, to ensure that the QAQC policies and practices are being followed at that jobsite.

Position Overview

Oversee the everyday activities of your assigned task and coordinate with the General Foreman and/or PM. Procure, inspect, assess, evaluate and document all non-compliant issues found during your inspections for the duration of the project, while keeping in mind that Safety is first and foremost. This is a salary exempt position.

Provide the most cost effective and efficient means available in order to produce a profitable project. Understands the scope of the project drawings, Job Specs, Submittals and have a strong understanding of the NEC Code requirements. Be an asset to the project and work hand-and-hand with the project Superintendent to assure that all inspections and documentation are properly performed, completed and filed.

  1. Works directly with Foreman, General Forman, Supt, and the Project Manager

  2. Plans work – responsible for all QA/QC inspections and assuring that all QA/QC documents are completed and filed.

  3. Has the ability to act in a decisive manner

  4. Demonstrates knowledge of the NEC Electrical Code

  5. Familiar with all electric systems

  6. This individual must be motivated and have the ability to monitor and report on the progress of work at each site

  7. Codes time sheets

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of characteristics and demonstrated capabilities sought to perform this job successfully.

  • Preferred License Journeyman minimum (5) years

  • Required QAQC experience in ground up and remodeling construction

  • OSHA 30 certified

  • Be proficient in Word and Excel

  • Blue Beam Review experience

  • Positively identify colors of wires.
