Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in Cloud computing or Security products.

  • Experience in problem solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments.

  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.

  • Ability to understand and provide feedback on engineering design documents.

  • Excellent communication skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with the Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Operations and Leadership across Google Cloud to plan, design, execute, launch, and operate GCP Security Threat Intelligence Services.

  • Manage the status of releases and programs, transforming ambiguous requirements into clear goals and objectives.

  • Drive the product development life-cycle including concept/initiation, planning, execution, product release and post launch customer support, working with engineers, product managers, site reliability engineers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Define, deploy, drive, and refine project infrastructure which optimizes team performance by emphasizing execution discipline, reliability, efficiency, and availability goals.

  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, and risks, anticipate and mitigate execution issues, and communicate to executives and other project stakeholders.
