As the Senior Product Manager – Tech (PMT) for Fire TV Core CX, you will be the single threaded leader for Fire TV core framework and services that support the experience our customers interact with every time they use Fire TV devices world-wide.

Key job responsibilities

  • Responsible for the vision, success and execution of a high performing Fire TV core software that improves customer engagement and business revenue, and empowers partner teams to efficiently integrate and deliver experiences to expand the impact.

  • Partners with multiple product, design, engineering, quality, and customer-support teams across Fire TV, Amazon Devices and other partner orgs (i.e. Prime Video, Amazon Kids, Ads, etc.) to support new features, scale existing architecture, and expand device launches internationally per organizational goals.

  • Owns the mechanism to effectively manage requirements and prioritization for all requests received by partner teams, including new requirements and how they fit in for overall strategy, or defects triage and how they impact customer experience and business.

  • Owns Fire TV core services as wake and routing, in addition to UI frameworks to enable increased feature velocity and provide vertical ownership for teams across Fire TV.

  • Drives overall business and technical success for Fire TV Core CX, owns device health (i.e. performance, fluidity, stability, storage), and contributes to key metrics including overall customer engagement (i.e. Conversion), monetization (CCP, Ads, Subscriptions), and additional input metrics as Alexa active usage, and CS contact rate.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
