Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience in data analytics (e.g., spreadsheets, manipulation, or dashboards).

  • Experience in managing business processes (e.g., OKRs or budget planning) for manufacturing or data center operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in financial analysis.

  • Experience in program management for data center operations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with all organizational levels.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are a diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Plan and execute cross-functional business processes for the Operational Readiness team (e.g., OKRs, budget planning, and HC planning).

  • Lead project and program reviews, weekly team updates, and monthly machine learning operational readiness updates.

  • Drive continuous improvements to the team's portfolio health.

  • Support special projects with cross-functional project teams (e.g., global retrofit projects, bug SLO management).

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching global program and project management challenges.
