Job Summary:
The Role:
We are looking for a passionate Performance Coach to join our team and help create an exceptional fitness experience. You will be responsible for managing the facility atmosphere—ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. As a brand ambassador, you’ll deliver high-quality fitness programs both in-person and digitally, focusing on movement quality, habit transformation, and participant engagement. The ideal candidate has experience in fitness center operations and excels at building strong relationships with clients and team members. Responsibilities:
Manage the overall appearance and atmosphere of the facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a positive environment for all users.
Using Exos methodology, curate and deliver specialized fitness programs for diverse populations with varying abilities and goals, focusing on safe, quality instruction.
Build strong, lasting relationships with participants to foster a sense of belonging and drive engagement in regional communities.
As a brand ambassador you will represent Exos and our client at meetings, events, and on digital platforms, articulating service offerings with creativity and clarity.
Skillfully lead group fitness classes, providing expert guidance to improve technique and ability while delivering an energizing and motivational experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of coaching experience or completion of an Exos Performance Internship.
Bachelor’s degree required; Majors in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field are preferred.
Current industry certifications (preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM)is required
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification are required.
Excellent presentation and communication skills for both small and large groups.
Strong customer service orientation—delivering a top-notch experience to every client is a priority.
Passion and energy for helping others reach their personal fitness goals.
Experience teaching group fitness classes, with an emphasis on technique and progression.
Residents of CA, CO, NY, WA, MD: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $22.00/hour to $38.00/hour. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
