Apple is looking for a Senior Legal & Global Security Solutions Engineering Manager to be at the forefront of transforming our legal solutions with cutting-edge technology. You’ll drive the advancement of our Legal & Security Operations and Technology roadmap, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Description

We’re looking for an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in designing, building, and managing large-scale enterprise systems. Proficiency in Salesforce and full-stack technologies, including Vue, React, NodeJS, and SQL/NoSQL databases, is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Shape and execute the technology roadmap for the Legal Operations & Technology team, ensuring alignment with Apple’s broader organizational goals. * Evaluate, test, deploy, and support technology solutions to ensure they meet Apple’s high standards for efficiency, functionality, and user experience. * Work with your developers to set priorities, review code and architecture, and lead production deployments. * Lead key strategic projects to improve processes within the Legal & Security departments, including developing and maintaining a comprehensive legal data warehouse and AI/ML Initiatives. * Partner with Design, Security, and other platform and services teams to translate stakeholder needs into actionable technology solutions, ensuring reliable and robust integration and optimal results. * Oversee the configuration, administration, and ongoing improvement of legal operations processes and third-party technology solutions. * Servant leadership style focused on helping their team deliver their lives’ best work and promoting growth and development The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for innovation. Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in a software engineering management role

  • Experience mentoring a team at varied skill levels in deep technical details

  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable infrastructure services

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Spinnaker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.

  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and developing Salesforce solutions

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent with legal security technologies (e.g., eDiscovery, e-billing, matter management, contract and document management, privacy management, law enforcement, knowledge management, and crisis management)

  • Experience with Vue, React, NodeJS, and SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Experience with third-party clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform

  • Experience with leveraging LLM’s, Generative AI, and Machine Learning.

  • Experience participating in and building a highly productive collaborative team culture

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $252,400 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
