Description
We are seeking a talented GenAI Platform Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of AI-powered applications. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that power our generative AI use-cases. You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software engineers to bring innovative AI solutions to Enterprise. Responsibilities: Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable GenAI Solutions, including inference services, automated workflows and data ingestion systems. Infrastructure Optimization: Optimize infrastructure resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Tool Development: Build and maintain tools for model experimentation, visualization, and monitoring. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies
Minimum Qualifications
BS in computer science or related technical degree
2+ years of industry experience in software engineering or machine learning engineering.
Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python
Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
Familiarity with embedding, retrieval algorithms, agents, data modeling for vector development graphs.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
