Meta Engineering Program Specialist in Sunnyvale, California

Summary:

The Wearables Hardware Engineering Program Specialist (HW EPS) team supports all the Wearables Hardware Products across Meta from New Technology Introduction (NTI) to shipping products. As an Engineering Program Specialist, your top priority will be partnering with Technical Program Managers to deliver hardware to cross-functional team(s) on time to support product development.This role requires strong communication skills and attention to details as you will be working with large cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Managing and keeping track of information are extremely critical to the success of this role.

Required Skills:

Engineering Program Specialist Responsibilities:

  1. Manage procurement and keep track of Purchase Orders

  2. Support budget management and forecasting

  3. Work closely with engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) teams to ensure error-free BOMs (bill of materials)

  4. Support initial build matrix setup

  5. Drive material clear-to-build for hardware builds and support shipping logistics

  6. Collect allocation requests and manage distribution logistics

  7. Manage multiple programs concurrently

  8. Up to 10% travel as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist or similar role in consumer electronics

  2. Experience in hardware development, worked with vendors domestically and internationally

  3. Experience managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, coordinating across different teams, vendors and time zones

  1. 8+ years experience as an Engineering Program Specialist or similar role in consumer electronics

  2. Experience working with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test and Pack) contract manufacturers

Public Compensation:

$142,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
