This role can be based in any of our US office locations or wherever candidate chosen for currently hire resides. This role offers both hybrid and remote work options, meaning you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to join our LinkedIn Talent Solutions team, with a specialized focus on serving our largest and global Staffing customers. This role will be pivotal in developing the strategies to grow revenue as well as deepen the relationships with this influential customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to large staffing firms, focusing on long-term relationships and sustainable growth.

  • Lead a tenured, high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they meet and exceed sales targets. (Team consists of 12 sellers and a Sr. Manager)

  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, expanding our footprint and delivering customized solutions that meet the unique needs of staffing clients.

Customer Centricity:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key strategic accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.

  • Understand the specific challenges and goals of each client, positioning LinkedIn as a trusted partner that can deliver tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations that align with industry trends and best practices.

Market Insights and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the staffing sector.

  • Use market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning, ensuring LinkedIn remains at the forefront of the industry.

Operational Excellence:

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership, offering insights into market dynamics and sales performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales Operations and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Implement and optimize sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the team operates at peak performance.

  • Leverage CRM tools and data analytics to track progress, manage the sales pipeline, and identify areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in customer facing & revenue generating roles  

  • 5+ years of leadership experience 

  • 2+ years of experience partnering with large accounts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and cultivating long-term relationships by delivering complex, customized solutions to large enterprises, preferably in Staffing.

  • Deep understanding of the staffing industry, including its challenges, trends, and opportunities.

  • Experience leading sales strategy and customer experience for global accounts.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and strategy.

  • Experience with CRM tools and data analytics platforms.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $305,000 - $465,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
