The Senior Manager, Site Supply Chain Chief of Staff is a strategic leader who supports the Head of Supply Chain in driving the execution of key initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment across the organization. This role acts as a key advisor to the leadership team, facilitating communication, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensure the team delivers on our goals and objectives. The Chief of Staff is responsible for enhancing organizational effectiveness, driving digitalization initiatives, and ensuring that strategic goals are met. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in managing both high-level strategy and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff and Strategy Meetings: Organize, lead, and ensure the effective execution of staff and strategy meetings. Facilitate discussions, track action items, and ensure follow-up.

  • All-Hands Meetings: Plan and run all-hands meetings, ensuring that all employees are informed and aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Manage Performance Metrics: Establish and manage end to end site supply chain metrics and dashboards, ensure real-time data accuracy with latest performance metrics, and ensure that all team members are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Planning Process Improvement: Lead and champion initiatives aimed at improving the planning processes within the supply chain organization. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Communication Across the Organization: Ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across all departments, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.

  • Digitalization Initiatives: Drive the organization's digitalization efforts, identifying and implementing digital tools and processes that enhance efficiency and support the company's strategic goals.

  • Feedback Collection: Act as the point person for gathering feedback from team members, ensuring that all voices are heard and that actionable insights are captured and addressed.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.

  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to the changing needs of the organization, taking on new challenges as they arise and ensuring that the team remains agile and responsive.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the development and execution of key strategic initiatives, ensuring that all projects are aligned with the organization's broader goals.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or Chief of Staff role, preferably within a supply chain or operational environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • A proactive, go-getter attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive change.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience with digitalization initiatives and implementing new technologies in a business setting.

  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing needs and environments.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, information systems, business management or related fields; advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years' of related experience in GMP manufacturing and/or supply chain Demonstrates high degree of business acumen, with ability to deliver executive level presentations, challenge assumptions and drive decision making.
