Atlantic Health System Physician Assistant, AMG Hematology and Oncology, Summit/Union in Summit, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Physician Assistant for Outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology in Summit/Union

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support a busy and expanding outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology practice in Summit, with a secondary location in Union. Our team of hematologists, medical oncologists, and physician assistants coordinate comprehensive care, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive services. This full-time position is Monday through Friday with no weekends or call requirements.

The PA will work collaboratively with a dynamic group of board-certified cancer specialists, providing hematology and oncology patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include triaging phone calls, educating patients and families on chemotherapy agents, and working with insurance carriers for peer-to-peer reviews. The ideal candidate will have a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and clinical expertise in oncology.

    Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

  • BLS required

  • 2+ years of hematology/medical oncology experience is preferred

  • Epic EMR experience preferred

  • Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
