Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ER is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License required

• Nursing degree from an Accredited Nursing School required; BSN required within 3 years or hire or transfer; Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree preferred

• A current BLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) are required

• PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP (MCMC,CPED, SMC, BPED), and CPI required within 6 months of hire or transfer

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification must be complete within 90 days of hire

• CEN must be achieved within 12 months of hire or transfer if not current

• 5+ years of managerial experience highly preferred
