Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and would be a great fit for someone with a keen interest in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify applications for credit and manage all aspects of customer accounts

• Examine customer payment plans, history, and credit lines

• Ensure timely collection of payments by conducting regular follow-ups

• Use 'Account Reconciliation' and 'Cash Collections' skills to balance accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and SAP for data management and analysis

• Handle the billing process, ensuring customers are invoiced accurately

• Efficiently work on 'Cash Applications' to ensure all cash receipts are applied properly

• Manage 'Accounts Receivable' and follow up on pending dues

• Perform 'Commercial Collections' duties, adhering to company policies and procedures

• Provide excellent customer service and support to both internal and external clients. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Knowledge and practical skills in Billing procedures

• Expertise in Cash Applications procedures

• Experience in handling Cash Collections

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SAP software for financial management

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Proven ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
