Description

We are searching for a Billing Clerk to join a rapidly growing client in the Sugar Creek, MO area. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks related to customer account management and billing within our organization. Responsibilities:

• Handle the daily processing and distribution of customer invoices

• Process customer-approved credit memos and debit memos on their respective accounts

• Investigate, review, and resolve any issues arising in customer accounts

• Regularly track and maintain batch tickets

• Process and distribute customer statements on a monthly basis

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software to maintain and update accounts receivable records

• Work towards resolving discrepancies in billing and accounts as necessary

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Proven ability to resolve discrepancies in billing processes

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in finance or related field will be appreciated.
