Senior FP&A Analyst The Senior FP&A Analyst provides executives with analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. The Sr FP&A Analyst also ensures that accounting records, internal reporting, and external reporting are properly stated in accordance with all applicable regulations. This role plays a big part in safeguarding the company's assets by maintaining a strong internal control environment. Responsibilities Assist business unit leaders in compiling the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting data as well as forecast data. Assist in developing dashboard reporting for both operations and overall company to drive accountability. Support preparation of the Management Discussion and Analysis explaining variances on a month, quarter, and year-to-date basis in comparison to previous year and AOP as well as a reconciliation of EBITDA to USGAAP net income. Willingness to be hands-on and dive deep into detail. Collaborate to satisfy both internal and external reporting requirements for leadership team and ownership. Analyze financial data to ensure propriety. Collaborate to satisfy all internal reporting requirements for many stakeholders throughout the business. Developing and maintaining various ad hoc reports and schedules to support the finance, functions, and corporate leadership team. Knowledgeable of various functions to assist finance leadership in validating forecast and annual planning assumptions. Maintain a strong internal control environment by demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ethical values. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Experience in monthly and annual accounting period closes Understanding of the composition function and purpose of all financial statements. Experience with internal or external auditing. Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced and ever evolving environment. Preferred Qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years' experience in an accounting/finance role Experience working in an ERP system (SAP Preferred) Familiarity of US GAAP principles Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to take initiative, own and follow through on projects to completion Key Relationships: Operations, Finance, Functional Leaders (Supply Chain, SIOP, Legal, HR, etc.) Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of travel required Working Conditions: Hybrid schedule Our Senior Financial Planning Analysis Analyst- Quartz and Ceramics will earn a variable compensation including base salary and bonus.
