What is a Sr. Business Systems Specialist?
The Sr. Business Systems Specialist will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our company's strategic applications specifically focusing on ERP and Manufacturing applications. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and expertise to streamline business processes, ensure the seamless integration of various systems and provide technical support to the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology and a background in ERP applications, manufacturing executions systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn about new technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide application subject matter expertise to support business process improvement and enhancement efforts.
- Coordinate IT activities with the business and external vendors.
- Work with business users to document requirements and create test scripts.
- Partner with third parties to update system configurations and/or integrations to support requirements.
- Manage and support daily application and system administrative activities including user maintenance, end user reporting/data requests, backup and recovery, database maintenance and other various administrative activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with system and application configurations and setups.
- Provide technical support and maintenance of I.T. systems.
- Support an application environment with 300 plus users across multiple locations.
- Automate application administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Identifies process improvements and technologies.
- Interfaces with software, services vendors and internal accounting department to facilitate the purchase of software and services.
- Create and maintain standardization and documentation of technology, policies and processes.
- Create and maintain and manage application lists and documentation.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with other IT staff, business functions and external vendors.
- Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers, and peers effectively.
- Comply with policies, procedures, standards, and rules of the Company.
- Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required. • At least five years of proven experience working with various IT and Business systems is required. • At least three years' experience managing and administering ERP or manufacturing applications. • At least one year of coordinating small projects is required. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation sk
