Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, based in Strongsville, Ohio. This role involves processing customer credits, maintaining accuracy in accounts receivable records, and actively resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage customer credit applications.

• Update and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Proactively resolve customer inquiries related to account receivable.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions.

• Handle customer credits and deductions.

• Prepare and analyze aging reports.

• Use Excel for data formatting, creating formulas, pivot tables, and VLookups.

• Utilize various portals for efficient operation.

• Maintain a detail-oriented approach to tasks.

• Exhibit a proactive attitude in managing tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • Applicant must have at least one year of experience in the field of accounts receivable or a related area.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a key requirement for this role.

• Familiarity with Aging Reports is necessary.

• The candidate should have a solid understanding of credit-related principles.

• Experience within the manufacturing industry is desirable, but not mandatory.

• The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• The applicant should be proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required in this role.

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
