Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to join our growing team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful completion of various internal projects within our organization. From developing new products to implementing process improvements, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient project execution.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in a manufacturing environment.

This position will lead projects for our four facilities across Wisconsin. The person in this role may work remotely in Wisconsin or be based out of our home office in Stoughton with frequent travel required to our locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project management cycle from initiation to completion

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure the timely completion of deliverables

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and resolve issues that may arise during project implementation

• Monitor the progress of projects, tracking key milestones and providing regular status updates to stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards

• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing

• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary resources

• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and gather lessons learned

Job-Specific Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, project management)

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

• Experience with process management & improvement

• Ability to lead through influence and motivate team

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Data affinity

• Strong focus on cross-functional collaboration
