The Division of Otolaryngology/Department of Surgery at the Stony Brook University Hospital seeks to hire a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship trained Otolaryngologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cosmetic and/or reconstructive surgical procedures.
- Create personalized treatment plans and communicate them effectively to patients.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Be reliable, approachable, and work well with our team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Interested in the development of a busy clinical practice and the mentoring of residents and medical students.
Required Qualifications:
Medical Degree, MD or DO (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Otolaryngology. Meets the qualifications to practice medicine in the State of New York. Possess or be eligible for certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Perferred Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and educate patients effectively. An interest in research and scholarly activity is encouraged.

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
