ManpowerGroup Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Stockton, California

Our client, a food manufacturer is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join their team. As an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be part of the production safety team supporting production operations in two locations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, be bilingual in Spanish and be open to a fluctuating schedule which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Location: Stockton, California

Pay Range: $80K - $120K/annually D.O.E.

What’s the Job?

  • Establish and develop site operation specific health and safety programs as needed and drive implementation

  • Champion efforts to foster a safety culture and employee engagement consistent with company policies, and facilitate site safety teams.

  • Perform operations hazard assessments, recommend corrective actions.

  • Train personnel including all mandatory OSHA compliance training, 1st aid responders and necessary operational hazard specific training.

  • Lead injury management, conduct claims investigations and evaluate WC claims, identify and recommend preventative measures and corrective actions.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH

  • OSHA Certification/Licenses/Registrations: ASP or CSP highly preferred!
