Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Stockton, California. The role involves managing office administration tasks, assisting with various accounting duties, and working with a range of business software. Call Edgar Gonzalez if interested 209.395.2259

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and emails, ensuring effective communication within the office

• Taking responsibility for maintaining office supplies and equipment, and organizing the office environment

• Managing daily mail schedules, including arranging FedEx and UPS pickups

• Assisting with the company's audio/visual/technology needs and other administrative tasks as needed

• Supporting the accounting staff with inputting, updating, and modifying various spreadsheets to aid with monthly accounting reconciliations

• Utilizing accounting and business software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable, managing billing, and processing invoices

• Performing data entry tasks as required.

Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting or a related role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Demonstrated experience in Billing and Invoice Processing.

• Ability to perform efficient Data Entry and maintain accuracy in records.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks software in managing financial records.

• Experience in working with SAP for enterprise resource planning.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with other departments and clients.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be an added advantage.
