Position is Located in Stillwater, OK

Purpose of the Job

Internship working alongside a team of experienced engineers. This position is non-exempt with 20 to 29 hours per week.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

+ + Assist the engineering team with essential job functions including but not limited to:

  • Project management

  • CAD modeling

  • R&D and testing for improvement of existing processes

  • Review specifications

  • Technical writing

  • Data collection

  • Perform time studies / cost analysis

  • Administrative tasks

  • Assist with other assignments as directed by Engineering Manager

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

    R equired Qualifications and Skills:

    Education: 3rd or 4th year student currently enrolled and working toward a 4-year degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

    Skills / Experience:

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills

  • Responds to change as a positive challenge

  • Significant level of multi-tasking

  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to expand and improve problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Preferably able to handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be currently eligible/authorized to work in the United States.
